A Little Bit About My Partner
Welcome back guys! In my last post, I gave you guys a little introduction about myself. But, I'm not going to be working on this project alone, so I figured I'd introduce my partner for this project too. I'll be working with Yasmin (Harebin) for the production of this music video. She also happened to be my partner for the commercial in our last project, so I'm excited to work with her again. Yasmin - or as I usually call her, Yas, is one of the most reliable people I know. This holds especially true when it comes to group projects. I've known Yas since the first grade when we were just 6 years old and we have partnered up for nearly every single assignment we were able to. We are comfortable with each other and we know our capabilities well. We also have a good idea of each other's work ethic, which will play a big role in this project. However, since we don't share any other classes together, I haven't done a group project with just us two in a while. I look forward to working with her again, just like old times.
Her strengths make up for my weaknesses and my weaknesses make up for her strengths. A really prominent example would be that I tend to have more of a creative or artistic approach and ability, while she can efficiently work out the logistics and, if needed, 'crunch numbers'. And even while we're hard at work, we still enjoy each other's company and find time to have fun. Last time we worked together, we went to a boba shop together after we were done filming. There, I gave her a recommendation of my usual order, but had her try something new with mine. Yas hasn't had boba all that often, but it's one of my favorite treats. In fact, I was the first one who really pushed her to try it for the first time. While she's not as big of an enthusiast as I am about the drink, she still said she really enjoyed it. But, I'm getting carried away. Maybe during this production, I can convince her to get boba with me again - that would be fun since we already have plans on what song we want to do. We chose the song, "Attracted To You" by PinkPantheress, because the lyrics make for a clear possible storyline. In addition to this, Yas and I both agreed that we liked how the song sounded itself. I can't wait to keep updating you guys, until next time!
