Why I Am Always With Those Two
Welcome back! As you probably remember from my previous post, I have a small group of friends who like to give me nicknames. But, this really doesn't tell you much about them, so allow me to properly introduce who are my team members for the AICE Media Studies projects - Andres Santana and Yasmin Harebin. If you are wondering why I chose these two specifically, it is because I have known them for a very long time. More directly, I am very comfortable working with the two of them because, not only do we work well together, but I have worked with both of them on projects before. I met Yasmin in the first grade and we have been very close ever since. While our personalities are contrastive, our work ethic is similar and equally driven. This can cause us to go head-to-head at times, but it also means we can often come up with a much stronger idea together than individually. Yasmin and I get along well outside of school as well and I know she is an extremely reliable person, especially with her dedication to achieving.
As for Andres, while I haven't known him as long as Yasmin, we get along as if we met in a past life. I met Andres in the seventh grade, thought Yasmin had known him since she was just a toddler. When I was finally personally introduced to him, we immediately clicked. Ever since then, I have partnered up with him for the majority of assignments and events in general due to the level of comfort we've been able to establish between one another. And it's because of this that we work so well on projects together. Andres and I may not have similar work ethics or styles, but because our personalities do not collide, we are more often than not able to build off of each other to complete a task. And, of course, since Yasmin and Andres both are friends and get along with each other, we can make quite the trio. I chose them both to work with me on these projects because they've shown me time and time again their reliability and comprehensiveness. Not only, but I am at ease when working with them - which is an aspect I struggle to obtain more often than not. And while we can be seen off task or bickering at times, the assignments are always turned in on time and to the best of our abilities.
